Positively Organic Launches Online Store Offering Delightful New Line Of Baby Apparel -- With A Conscience

New York, NY (ContentDesk) August 15, 2005 -- There's no question that new parents want the absolute best for their babies, and with the endless flow of new upscale baby products hitting the market each week they're obviously willing to pay for it.
But besides wanting the best that money can buy, new parents are increasingly concerned with creating a more sustainable future for their children. Which is where Positively Organic comes in. Positively Organic is a new online store founded on the belief that beauty, style and the highest standards of quality can co-exist with environmentally and ethically responsible business practices.
"Everything we do at Positively Organic serves as an outward expression of those values," says PO co-founder Nancy Possenti.

"First and foremost, people want to buy our clothes because they're luxuriously soft and adorable."
She adds, "But they also like the fact that they are making a difference by purchasing garments that are friendly to the environment and fair to the people who make them."After a
20-year career in marketing and promotion at several major consumer magazines, Ms. Possenti decided to leave the corporate world behind in 2003 in search of a more meaningful career path.
Shortly thereafter, she and husband Peter came up with the idea for PO's signature "B-Babies" collection while attempting to start their own family. They initially planned on using conventionally grown cotton but were shocked to learn that, although it accounts for only 3% of the earth's farmland, conventionally grown cotton accounts for over 25% of the planet's use of toxic pesticides. They committed themselves to utilizing sustainable and enivironmetally-friendly materials and to working with socially-responsible suppliers ? and Positively Organic was born.

PO's unique line of baby basics are made from handpicked and ring spun organically grown cotton, nickel-free snaps and low impact chemical dyes.
Ms. Possenti insists "You really have to touch our garments in order to truly appreciate how much softer and more luxurious the cotton is."
They also offer adorable natural gift baskets which are packaged by hand using eco-friendly materials and come ready for gift-giving, complete with matching personalized cards.Positively Organic's apparel and gift baskets can be purchased at http://www.positively-orgnanic.com..

FRANCE LEAVES BAD TASTE IN WINE CLUB MEMBERS MOUTHS

Westlake Village, CA ? February 24, 2002 ? American Cellars Wine Club-the countries premier wine club for hard-to-find "boutique" wines -
has found that France's latest political stance has done more than anger the U.S. Government.
"Our members just do not want anything French" says Marc Musitano, Vice President of Operations for American Cellars.
"We have been receiving returns of French wine at an alarming rate, but we managed to appease most of our members with either domestic or foreign, non-French, replacements."
Asked how he believes this will affect business in the future, Musitano quipped, "Well I can tell you we won't be sourcing any French Wine anytime soon.
However, with the rise of regions such as Australia, Chile, and Argentina, -as well as great domestic product - we have no shortage of great wines to take their place."Founded in 1993, American Cellars Wine Club selects hard-to-find
wines from small, "boutique" wineries...

A Different Idea for Valentine's Day

Vero Beach, FL (ContentDesk) February 4, 2006 -- Why not go ahead this year and enjoy a movable feast with your Valentine's sweetheart? All you need for example is an authentic old time hand-woven picnic basket a meal filled with love, and a romantic bottle of wine. With Valentine's dinners running over $200 at the better restaurants, and a dozen of here-today-gone-tomorrow roses topping out at $100 in some markets, a romantic candlelight dinner for two, served on a
picnic hamper, is one of the most romantic things two
lovers can do. If the weather is
too frosty for an outdoors picnic , just pick a warm spot in front of the fireplace or headboard. There is a wide variety of designs and styles to choose from, with many including dinnerware, flatware, wine glasses or champagne flutes, and even a built-in cozy to keep the vintage bottle warm or cold. It's like having the restaurant come to you without the takeout containers and the delivery guy.Long after the flowers...
